Our opinion
Togglegetsmarter offers a selection of high quality courses, in collaboration with some of the most prestigious universities worldwide. We particularly like the impressive roster of partners they work with. If you want to take their courses, you shouldn't be on a tight budget though, since the prices are fairly steep, which is understandable when you look at their partner universities, but nevertheless might be unaffordable for many. We therefore recommend getsmarter to professionals that want to learn new skills, and that have the disposable budget to afford their courses.
YesChef offers a couple of high quality cooking classes with some of the world's most well-known chefs. We like that the courses have a super high production value, and the subscription they offer is fairly cheap. That said, their course catalog isn't very big yet, which means you might be able to go through all the courses they have to offer in a rather short amount of time. Therefore, we recommend YesChef if you want to watch the courses created by the chefs featured on their platform in particular. If you want a more extensive course catalog, there might be better alternatives available.
